build your city online for free

This is the world of Evony.  It is a web-based free online game.  And it allows you to build your own medieval city, under a seven day builders protection.

Do you like Age of Empires, or similar city building system then try Evony.  It is similar to most of the city building games, available for PC's.

and click register.

It allows you to set up your account and then play.  At first it is easy to play, and there are many players who will help you.  You first build a cottage in your town, and then upgrade it.  If you do all of the routine quests, it shows you how to build.  I would suggest building one cottage.

Then Click on City and build one of each of the following Sawmill, Quarry, Farm, and Iron Mine.

I then would upgrade the cottage, and the four resources.  You can also follow the routine quests under the Quest dialog box.  I would suggest doing the routine quests which will give you extra resources in gold, lumber, food, stone, and iron.

As you upgrade each building it will allow you, to get more resources, and increase your population.  As you increase production, and your population limit, you can build other things which are available in town area of the game.  More buildings allow you to due more things like build an army,  improve your defenses, increase production and do research.

It is fun for me, yet as I increase in levels for each building, it takes longer to build improvement.  Some buildings have requirements that must be improved before you can improve them.
